How to choose the right fund / fund for your hard earn money?

It is very conflict to your traditional school of thoughts but the fact of stock investing is "The past performance has nothing to do with future performance."

So how do we choose the right fund or fund manager to invest your fund (if you don't want to invest yourself or simply you cannot or you are too lazy to learn).

There are three criteria you should apply when you are looking for fund / fund manager:

First criteria I reckon is to make sure your fund manager is in the same page of your interest.

In simple term, he makes money only when you make money.

They got paid by the performance not size of the fund. Remember this fact:

Fund manager works for you if they only got paid by the investment performance.

Fund manager works for bank if they got paid by the size of the fund.

So which type of fund manager you want to hire?
