Asset allocation is not perfect

One of the things I learn about asset allocation is that the unemotional defeat the emotional over time by fading their highs and lows, their greed and fear, on a consistent basis.

However, asset allocation is not perfect and it is indeed very boring.

You will under perform the market when market is on the strong bull trend.

You will match the market when market is going sideways (nowhere).

You will outperform the market when market got attacked by bear.

However, the key is still discipline and contrarian view, which majority people lack of.
