The economy will be destroyed if everybody is Minimalist

First of all, I never believe everybody can be minimalist. Instead, I believe less than 20% can be minimalist. Majority still enjoys buying the stuff they don’t need with the money they don’t have to impress the people they don’t like.

Second, minimalism doesn’t represent zero spending. We simply buy less but we focus on experience, travel, high-quality consumer products (long last and less maintenance) and service (help us save the time and solve the issue).

Third, the economy will never be destroyed due to the flexibility of our capitalist system. The money simply flows from one end to another industry due to public demand.

From Nokia to iPhone. From blockbuster to Netflix. You name it. Every time, money simply changes the hand and never be destroyed.
