First of all, I never believe everybody can be minimalist. Instead, I believe less than 20% can be minimalist. Majority still enjoys buying the stuff they don’t need with the money they don’t have to impress the people they don’t like.
Second, minimalism
doesn’t represent zero spending. We simply buy less but we focus on experience,
travel, high-quality consumer products
(long last and less maintenance) and service (help us save the time and solve
the issue).
Third, the economy
will never be destroyed due to the flexibility of our capitalist system. The
money simply flows from one end to
another industry due to public demand.
From Nokia to iPhone.
From blockbuster to Netflix. You name it. Every time, money simply changes the
hand and never be destroyed.
